The 1/16 DIN is the smallest size to offer dual display so you can see the actual (process) temperature and your set point.

The N series are made on the American continent, are of very high quality the N1200 has the newest Auto-Adaptive PID control which is far better at controlling than the older fuzzy logic. The ETR's and FDC are Asian imports, have been around for a long time are excellent work horses.
