MICA STRIP HEATERS

Versatile, efficient and economical, the Mica Strip Heater is of the same construction as the Mica Band Heater in flat design. Because of the range of dimensions and configuration possible, these units furnish even heat distribution for use in hot plates, sealing equipment, hot stamping, dies and molds and hundreds of other surface heating applications.

TYPE L1 - Widths over 3/4". 12" lead wires standard.		TYPE L2 - Widths over 1". 12" lead wires standard.
TYPE T1 - Widths over 1". Requires 1" cold section each end.		TYPE T2 - Widths over 1-1/2". Requires 1-1/2" cold section at terminal end.
TYPE T3 - Widths 1-3/4" cold section at terminal end.		TYPE B2 - (Tapped Terminals)
T1, T2 & T3 terminals have 10-24 thread and require 15/16" clearance from surface being heated. B1, B2 & B3 require 1/2" clearance.
Full case - For use where surface contact on both sides of heater is necessary.		Mica Strip Heaters are also available with lead modifications fig. 3,5,6 & 16(shown) and plug configurations as shown in the Mica Band Heater section.

Watt densities to 35wi². Standard thickness is 5/32". When ordering, specify: length and width, type of termination, wattage and voltage (resistance tolerance +10; -5%) and special features.
