Tubular heaters or
Mighty-Blade elements are brazed or welded into a standard pipe flange. Standard
flange sizes include: 3",
4", 5", 6", 8", 10",
12" and 14". Flanged immersion heaters are used in large capacity vessels, in high
pressure applications and are installed by bolting the unit to a matching flange
welded to the vessel wall.
Incoloy Elements, Steel Flange, High Watt Density: Solution water
heating (less than 6% solution of alkaline or acid)
For use in severe industrial
process and solution water where the
high nickel content of the
Incoloy elements will resist corrosion.
Stainless Steel Elements, Steel Flange, High Watt
Density: Process
water heating (less than 3% solution of alkaline or acid)
For use in soap and detergent
solutions, soluble cutting oils,
demineralized or deionized water (specify
passivation and SS flange).
Incoloy Elements, Steel Flange, Medium Watt Density: Corrosive
solution heating (less than 25% concentration), also can
be used to heat air and
other gases where sheath temperature is
limited to 1500 deg. F.
Stainless Steel Elements, Steel Flange, Medium Watt
Density: Corrosive
solution heating (less than 25% concentration), also can
be used to heat air and
other gases where sheath temperature is
limited to 1100 deg. F.
Incoloy Elements,
Stainless Steel Flange, Low Watt Density:
Severe corrosive solution (up to 50%
concentration), lower watt density
and element and flange construction provide
corrosion resistance.
Steel Elements, Steel Flange, Low Watt Density: Medium weight oils such as gear
oils, fuel oils, and other materials where
low watt density is required.
